HANSIF began 2013 with a single conviction: in a valley this small, your name travels faster than any advertisement. Asif Hansif started where the need was plainest — the pipes and tanks that carry water into every Kashmiri home — and refused the one thing the trade is famous for: cutting corners.
That refusal became a reputation, and the reputation became a group. Today HANSIF reaches from the plumbing inside the valley’s homes to the flocks on its highest pastures — different work, one standard. The name on both is the same, because the promise behind it is too.
Asif’s plan was never a single product or a single trade. It was a house — a name strong enough to stand behind anything it touches. From the first tank sold in a Srinagar lane to flocks on the high pastures, HANSIF is being built to outlast its founder. The valley remembers who keeps its word; HANSIF intends to be that name for a generation.
